twk123
I have the chance to buy a KSW-10 or SW-12 II on CL, they are both listed for $50. I am in need for a good sub for movies only. My KG 5.5's handle enough bass for music and I dont think either of these will keep up with them anyway. What do you guys think? My room is about 11' by 18'. The KSW-10 is my choice so far due to it being a smaller sub and I like that it is down firing but is the older SW-12 worth the larger footprint? I sat down and read this, texted the guy, got the address, hit up the ATM, and now she is sitting in my living room. I need to get a splitter to really open it up but I am still incorporating everything now.
The History Kid
SW-12 is a nice behemoth. Good buy right there. Especially for $50.

twk123
and now she is sitting in my living room AWESOME!!! - lets see her I will try to get some pics tonight. The Cab is in good shape, just some scrapes on the top but that can be fixed easily with paint. I did notice that the sub hums pretty bad when plugged in so I think the amp might have some issues. The woofer sounds like its showing its age as well but for $50 its something I can definitely work with. I think I will start another thread on some mods I am thinking of.
