Mallette
If this proves out, we can probably not worry anymore about Windows bogging down our computers. Dave

Mallette
HP is said to be "betting the farm" on a completely new nanophotonic architecture and OS, initially for mainframes and minicomputers, but possibly trickling down to PCs. IBM is working on a nanophotonic chip as well. While much more powerful than silicon devices, neither of these will be in the class of the Optalysys architecture. JJkizak
The hackers are having a party. There goes the 100 digit password protect. JJK
Guest Steven1963
True. It will be nothing for them to run random series' until they hit the right combination. Would probably take a minute with this technology?
Mallette
Lock the system with Qbits. Not hackable, as far as we know. Dave
derrickdj1
This type of computing will lead to humanoid robotech and help deep space exploration. All the little boys that read comic books on things like this have growup.
Quiet_Hollow
we can probably not worry anymore about Windows bogging down our computers. LOL....they'll find a way. The fact that it's 2015 and my phone, tablet, and blu-ray player still have to "boot" is absurd. We should be headed back to hardware implementation with the way prices are, but developers stick with software. Unicorns, just like à la carte cable TV service.
