finallygotmyheresies
These look cool to me. I cant remember seeing anyone do this here before but I'm guessing it has. In my opinion due to their custom nature I dont think they are worth anywhere near this price though. Maybe $800 if they are lucky, probably more like $600 realistically http://phoenix.craigslist.org/evl/ele/4985429538.html I know this is link to a for sale listing but I wanted the tinkerers out there to see these. muel
I love cane and those are some pretty walnut cabinets but seeing that k400 sticking out the back was kind of sickening! A Fastrac would have been a far better choice and they destroyed their value IMHO.
finallygotmyheresies
I dont think it matters that the horn is sticking out. I've never placed cornwalls so close to the wall where this would become an issue. FWIW the K-55 is sticking out the backside of the La Scalla II's and I thought that looked pretty cool which is probably why I like this. muel
Personal tastes I guess... This doesn't look anything like the back of the LaScala II and the LaScala doesn't need to be sealed like the Cornwall. Looks like lots of white silicon was used though. The Dude
That was the first type of Cornscala, suppose to sound great. But yes seeing that k400 sticking out the back was kind of sickening! A Fastrac would have been a far better choice . I would love to try the Fastrac upgrade on my Cornwalls, but I just can't bring myself to cutting into them. muel
I have a pair of 67 verticals. I just set them on top. Installed speaker jacks and use the old strip for the mid driver. Works great and no cutting!
Rivervalleymgb
The first corns call was the Beta Sound M-100 first made circa 1978. I need to clear some stuff out of the way to get some pics of mine.
