ZEUS121996
IDK if this a great deal or not, but it seems to be fair Electrovoice EV DH1A drivers with HP9040 horns and base plates (pair) - $475 (Chicago, IL) http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/ele/5065872155.html Mark
wvu80
I would say to get a pair of EV DH1A drivers would cost around $200 shipped at the least. I hope that helps in evaluating the rest of the parts. Edited June 9, 2015 by wvu80
moray james
that is a fair asking price why don't you go have a look and a listen to them. Some open cell 25 - 30 PPI foam in the throat all the way to the point where the diffraction slot stops will tame much of the distortion it generates at concert levels. These ought to sound excellent in home and you will never be pushing them unless you peel paint with them. I made the commitment to buy a set of these but could not arrange shipping and had to pass. Best regards Moray James. Edited June 9, 2015 by moray james

I have too much gear now a couple of projects and now space James, the pictures you posted of the horns painted yellow and white really got my attention. I just have to tell myself NO Mark
