The highs are just a wee bit too crisp, and I use a FiiO E17, which adds a little bit of body to the sound, and gives me tone controls, which I use to drop the highs down 2dB. I listen late at night, even using them for movies - and yes - they are that good. They're also very comfortable, best in class. I paid almost full retail for my t5, which is the set made for mobile applications - and I have never regretted it. I understand the reason for them, but can you hear what the person is listening to when in use? The reason I ask is I might be more interested in a mobile t5 for noise isolation and privacy sake.
