hornlover60
Forum Experts, I am the owner of a set of original Belle Klipsch speakers. Does anyone have recommendations for improvement of the speaker components or cross over networks? The oiled oak veneer is fairly beat up. Do you have recommendations on veneer sourcing? I was thinking of using a walnut veneer followed by several coats of polyurethane. Thank you in advance, hornlover60
Dr Morbius
I can probably say that you need to update the crossovers. They are as you say original and are dried out. I had very good luck with Al at ALK Engineering who works pretty much exclusively with Klipsch Heritage speakers, such as yours. How old are your Belles, by the way? jimjimbo
Photos of the cabinetry and photos of the crossovers would help.
ryanm84
I've purchased from this seller on ebay several times. I bought my walnut veneer that went to refurbish my Cornwalls and it was great. I believe others have used this seller too. If you plan on doing the veneering yourself... http://www.ebay.com/usr/jsowoodproducts
