wvu80 Posted January 8, 2016 Share Posted January 8, 2016 (edited) I found these woofers rarely move, but almost all the sound is from tweeter. That because center only handle dialogue probably? If you've ever seen a pro woofer when its playing loud, they hardly look like they're moving at all. That's part of how they reduce distortion. They don't move back and forth a half-inch each way like a sub-woofer does. I have speakers with dual 12" woofers and they hardly move, but they don't distort at higher sound levels. If you lightly touch your finger to one of the rubber surrounds or the speaker cone when it is playing loud, you will feel it "buzz" your finger. That's good sound.
