rebuy
A lot of are dusty---could impede the sound. Just wondering.....
jimjimbo
Don't think it impedes the sound, just doesn't look very good. I dust with a soft paintbrush, because, well, I'm an artsy kind of guy.... Although, if it's truly "vintage" dust, then I would leave it alone. Moderators dtel Posted January 21, 2016 Moderators Share Posted January 21, 2016 (edited) Dust, yes, when it get's where I can just roll it up like a little blanket. But really whenever I get around to it, for some reason no one here will touch them, except the grandkids, they think there doing something special wiping it all off. And i thank them constantly, it sure beats doing it myself. What really did impede the sound was on the yard speakers were wasp built nest in the k400 horns to the point I had to take the drivers off the horn and clean them out. When I put it back together i put some fiberglass window screen over the opening to stop them from going in there, it works great.
