kenratboy
Dallas or Houston - only a hop, skip, and a jump from McAllen! I'm sure our little Texan Justin can help. You will need a big city. Basically, you will not be able to hear one. I you really want one, you should just call Klipsch and find a dealer in Texas that can ship you out one. Good luck!!! ------------------ Receiver: Sony STR-DE675 CD player: Sony CDP-CX300 Turntable: Technics SL-J3 with Audio-Technica TR485U Speakers: JBL HLS-610 Subwoofer: JBL 4648A-8 Sub amp: Parts Express 180 watt Center/surrounds: Teac 3-way bookshelfs Yes, it sucks, but better to come. KLIPSCH soon! My computer is better than my stereo! For JBL related subjects and more fun, click: http://www.audioheritage.org

kenratboy
I'll send him a PM (private message) for you, he might be able to help. Yes, Klipsch pro subs are good, but I like JBL Pro better. ------------------ Receiver: Sony STR-DE675 CD player: Sony CDP-CX300 Turntable: Technics SL-J3 with Audio-Technica TR485U Speakers: JBL HLS-610 Subwoofer: JBL 4648A-8 Sub amp: Parts Express 180 watt Center/surrounds: Teac 3-way bookshelfs Yes, it sucks, but better to come. justin_tx_16
Hey, this is Texas Justin AKA Justin. The nearest Klipsch dealer to you is certainly not Dallas haha. That is a hop, skip and flight away. Check out TAPE TOWN AUDIO VIDEO in Corpus. Here is their number... 512-854-8742 The only other dealer in your area, if you count 100+ miles as in your area would be one in Laredo, METEX AUDIO-VIDEO on Houston Street. but not in houston... Its number is 956-727-8933 and is really not any further away than Corpus, I spent a week down in your area visiting my cousin this summer He lives in Rockport (i got to his house from Houston in 3 hours... that is about 100mph average oops hehe. If you do make it a trip to houston, I can help you tremendiously. There are SEVERAL klipsch dealers out here, primarily Tweeter, who sells more Klipsch than anyone else in Texas. I HIGHLY recommend them, and if you take 59 all the way to the Sam Houston Toll Road North, and then take I-45 North towards dallas, you will find one of the best Tweeters around. Talk to Steven Scott, tell him Justin Scott sent ya My email is justin@soundwise.org if you need anything else! ------------------ -justin SoundWise promediatech@Klipsch.com /1-888-554-5665 - RA# 800-554-7724 ext 5s> Email Me

Dustin B
The problem with the big pro audio subs meant for use in large areas is although they can really pound from the second octave up, very few can actually do any justice to the last octave. If home theater will be a major part of your listening, or if you like music that has info in the last octave a pro sub will more than likely disappoint. If you are just looking for a sub that can keep up with vintage Klipsch horns from 30hz and up then the pro subs won't disappoint.
Guest BobG
Tweeter is not a Klipsch Professional products dealer. There is a completely separate group of dealers for our pro products. You can send me a PM and I'll give you the nearest dealer.
justin_tx_16
either way, i would look at SVS as an alternative, more bang for the buck. ------------------ -justin SoundWise promediatech@Klipsch.com /1-888-554-5665 - RA# 800-554-7724 ext 5s> Email Me
