sheltie dave
Mustang guy, these are Cabinart cabs, not Klipsch flat kit Shorthorns. The four reasons we know this are 1) the Klipsch mortarboard does not have two woofer cutouts like the left speaker has 2) the Klipsch wings are screwed to the cab at top and bottom using L brackets, not wood wings 3) all three cabs have the wire terminals at the bottom, not the upper right back 4) none of them have the two Klipsch papers glued and stapled at the top right back face, which came even on the flat kits They are Rebel Shorthorns, but not Klipsch Shorthorns. Small semantic difference, but for the Klipsch collector, somewhat significant.
mustang guy
Good information. Thanks. That PDF that I linked to does kinda indicate they are plans or a kit or something of that nature. Still, at $33 a piece the guy isn't exactly going for the collector I don't think.
