geoff.
I have not given up on the 510 Cornwall combo. There is huge potential with these. It’s just that I have been playing in LaScala land for about a year now. And it is a tough place to leave!
geoff.
This is where I am at right now. Same K510 with Faital Pro HF200. Same Crites CS-500 crossover. Peavey FH-1 bass bin with K-33-E woofers. I have several other “projects” running simultaneously. I just finished putting Crites A/4500 crossovers and CT-125 tweeters in the LSI tops and gave them a ride on both the LSI and FH-1 bins. The FH-1’s sounded better in every way... Given, the K-43 in the Industrial LS doesn’t go as low as the K-33, but it sounded octaves lower with the FH-1’s. I will no doubt wind up putting K-33’s in the LSI bins to do a head to head. ...after I run the current setup with the LSI bins stock... As had been suggested by several other forum members, this is a killer combination (K510 two-way with folded horn bass). I have been listening to the Booker T & The MGs recording pictured below on 8-Track, cassette and now CD, since I was a kid. MY BIG FAT KLIPSCH INDUCED PERMASMILE HAS RETURNED!
