joessportster Posted January 13, 2017 Share Posted January 13, 2017 After a long break, (that I wont go into) I found a deal I thought I would pass on here (Still have great feelings about this place and most of the people here) I came across a Direct Drive Kenwood KD-550 Turntable, and after some refurbing it is up and running great and sounds wonderful. I sold all my vinyl years ago and have no desire to start a new collection (especially seeing some of the prices now) Anyway I had to mod the dustcover, I put on a new stylus, alot of cleaning and I am happy to report it sounds great on my headphones The counter weight is a bit touchy but works, the strobe light works, and pitch and speeds are good to go check the pics..................these seem to have a good following and command a premium.........but like I said I am passing along a deal It will include a Rolls VP29 phono pre for fast easy hook up and play Sell it for 300.00 plus shipping and fees (I have very close to that in it) WILL CONSIDER TRADING FOR A CD PLAYER, PREFER TUBE BUT I AM OPEN TO OFFERS 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
