Has anyone ever seen this particular code or can anyone decipher it: H ZL SRB? I came across these Heresy's on ebay item# 1381713341, they look pretty interesting. I don't have any plans to bid on them just curious. Thanks.

made in 1988 in September??? It is a heresy II... they have the K76 tweeter and the k53 midrange and the K24 woofer instead of the heresy's k77 tweeter, the K51 midrange and the K22 woofer. it is more sensitive but can not take as much power or go as low. it also weighs like 20lbs less than the regular heresy.

Now if I just knew what "SRB" stands for.

Justin,

Heresy II won't go Heresy? Read the specs again, carefully. Then think.

Heresy II

63Hz-20kHz±3dB

Heresy

50Hz-17kHz±5dB

i don't think you would even notice either way.

man how I would love to pic those up!... but won't since my bank of america credit card does not work with ebay... can you think of any reason why? i can't, niether can bank of America...

Thanks for solving the mystery guys. Those Heresy's look like a rare find. $50.00 shipping including insurance anywhere in the US is tempting. Justin try dropping ebay customer service an email, to see whats up with your credit card problem.

So, Justin, did you notice the Heresy specs are +- 5 dB and the Heresy II specs are +- 3 dB. The 3 db down point on a Heresy is around 65 dB, about the same as the Heresy II.

Yeah i saw that, hence my later statement Wink.gif
