Clint Phare
Anyone familiar with this amp? How does it mate with the Klipsch LaScala and Heresy? I kinda got an itch... Thanks!
Raz
I have a pair of '81 Heresy's that work well with my Decware Zen amp. Because the speakers are effecient enough for the amp I can acheive ample sound levels without clipping the amp. The sound is very detailed but is lacking some bass. I'm experimenting with different wires to acquire the sound I like but overall I'm very satisfied. By the way, if anybody is interested I found a pair of LaSacalas for sale in the newspaper. The owner says they are in good shape and is asking $700.00. E-mail me for his phone #. Denver, CO area
foldedhorn
I have Mono SV83's and La Scala's sounds fantastic. Do NOT buy the kit let Decware build it.
JRklipsch
I have a Zen amp with my Lascalas, I upgraded the coupling caps per Steve's recommendations. It is a great little amp, the highs and mid range are very accurate, the bass is a little soft on my system, but that might be because of the way I have my room set up - it is very small. I have since bought a Yamaha HT amp for movie watching and would consider selling my Zen, if you are interested email me. JR
