OldSkool77
Thinking about upgrading my phono preamp and saw where the Budgie uses a pair of 6922 tubes...which I already have many to choose from. Anyone have experience with the Budgie? FWIW, I'm currently using a Cambridge Audio 551P and wish to stay in the $500 range.
Schu
Yeah... it's good. Riaa adjustable and use Shannon's SUT also if you're going to use a MC. I might still have mine... not sure because I have not run a TT in many months and I used to have two budgies.
davesans
You might want to check this out as well. I build the Cornet 2 a few years ago and it was an excellent sounding phono stage. https://www.haglabs.com/products/cornet3
