How much are Jubilees? For some reason I always figured they were around the same as older K-Horns that go for around 1800 to 2500. Never seen em, never heard em. Ignorance is bliss. A pair of jubilee bass bins NOT including MF and HF horns are now going for $5,000. Prices on the KPT 535 Jubilee were given a substantial increase a few months ago.

They produce clean, articulate, precise bass with various genres of music. However for movies, I think I need a bit more punch. I'm contemplating on switching to the KPT 415 low frequency section. It will be that, or couple the Jubilee bass bins with a horn loaded JTR Orbit Shifter subwoofer for movie playback.

Chris A
That's been my experience. I''d use subs (horn-loaded or tapped horn ones) with the Jubs, hands down. Crossover at 40 Hz or lower and use the subs to take you down to 14-17 Hz for music and movies. Perhaps you should reuse the thread on that subject (IIRC). We're kind of hamstrung in this one talking about alternatives. Chris

Chris A
We can't do this here. Start another thread and I'll be happy to respond. Chris

Making your negative comment about the 904 bass bin was not on topic of this garage sell thread . That's when you should have started a new thread not when its time to answer the question I ask you. If you're serious about acquiring them, then make an offer to the seller, but please, don't comment on the sale. Bass bins (with the dual 12" woofers, as implied above) go for about double that price, new. Two-way Jubs are about the price of a new pair of Khorns, if you want to compare prices. The 3-way Jubs add about another $1K (US). You can see the prices of Klipschorns on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-Klipschorn-AK5-Speaker-Walnut/dp/B000JQM14S Chris You posted this just 6 hours ago !
