Do you have a picture to show of the hole location and size drill bit you used? I just received these mounts yesterday and need to get mine hung up. I still need to go to the hardware store and get bolts and figure out the thread pitch for the speakers.
TasDom
I'm on the road for the next week but could take a pic or two when I return if you still need it.

Moderators Youthman Posted September 29, 2017 Moderators Share Posted September 29, 2017 No offense but if that was your "speaker stand", you can't blame the dog for knocking them over.
badboyspack
No, that is the hide a wire trim I need to put up tomorrow. Those are a replacement set. I have more pictures but they are to large to post up.
Moderators Youthman Posted September 29, 2017 Moderators Share Posted September 29, 2017 Interesting. Do they mount on the corners or flush with the wall?
badboyspack
The hide a wire trim sticks to the wall and the cover snaps over that piece. It sticks out less than a half inch.
TasDom
Looking good! I have some of the same wire channels on my RS-7s. Works very well to hide the wiring. Did you drill a hole in the mounts yet or did you need to?
badboyspack
I have no room in this living room for my RS 7's. I'm pissed about it too.
TasDom
Bummer, they are awesome for effects.
TasDom
I was going to suggest putting them on speaker stands but then I remembered that was what started this RB75 thing in the first place
badboyspack
Yes, I drilled the hole and used the center insert hole. I used tie straps for now to secure the rear part of of the speakers for now until I find something better. Any ideas for the rear? I have sevral more pics but they are to big to share. badboyspack
I had the mounts mounted on the speakers and dropped that screw down the center with washer and locking nut.
TasDom
I would think they are secure now with the bolt and washer and clamping mechanism.
badboyspack
The weight had them leaning forward, more than I would prefer. I just want to make sure they are VERY secure on the swivel part.

The dog got freaked out and squeezed through the hole and knocked the one stool over and down my speaker went.
