Ugroove2this
Hello all, I have a pair of Klipsch Cornwall CD-BR I'm looking to sell. I really don't know much about them other than the few threads on here I've come across. These are consecutive serial numbers and the wood looks to be in great shape. Can anyone tell me what they would try to sell these for? I've seen $750 up to $1000. Thank you.
mungkiman
Photos will help determine value, as will location. BR stands for Birch Raw, although many consumers add their own finish.

jimjimbo
If all of the surfaces are as nice as those pictured appear to be, you have a winner..... And again, your location?
Ugroove2this
Dallas, TX. The surfaces are beautiful.
J M O N
Made in 1978. CD stands for "Cornwall Decorator." The "Decorator" is a model that comes unfinished (hence the Birch Raw designation) and without a grill as your photos show. Suggest you take more photos showing all sides, that will help with your sale especially given the condition you state.

What we all consider decorators look like the OP. However, CDBR Builder has pointed out that the cornwalls without the mitre'd corners were also considered decorators, I believe. Since he built them, I'd take his word for it, and I don't doubt your labels say CDBR... but for everyday discussion, decorators have a wooden front with no grill, while anything with a grill counts as not a decorator version. Coincidentally, I have 1980 cornwalls without mitre'd corners, and they just say CBR (rather than CDBR).
Ave Bona Cornwall
Also to the OP, the "S" in the serial number means they were built in 1978.
