Kain
Will it be safe/okay to place a 55 lbs TV on top of a RC-64 II/III?
RTR
Yes, I have 65” on RC-64II
willland
No problems at all. I think my RC64 would hold 100lbs if it had to. Bill
Kain
Thanks for the replies. I have also have a question regarding TV mount stands such as the ones found in this link: https://www.wayfair.com/furniture/sb0/flat-panel-mount-tv-stands-c413915.html You'll notice that all have a max TV size they support. Does that max TV size correlate with the width of the shelves (i.e. the width of the shelves is equal to the max TV size supported) or is there something else preventing them from supporting larger TVs? I don't mind if the TV extends beyond the width of the shelves so I was wondering if there is anything preventing me from installing a TV that is larger than the max supported size stated by them. derrickdj1
For TV stands like above, weight is usually not a factor. You can mount and LCD or a heavier Plasma using the same stand. It may have something to do with the over balance of the stand?
