kenratboy
Yep, here is the link http://electronics.cnet.com/electronics/0-6342366-8-9580598-2.html?tag=st.cn.1.t5.6342366-8-9580598-2 Well, not like they are the audio athority, but it is nice to see Klipsch is getting some press in a field that is not all audio. A lot of people see cnet.com, so it is good for Klipsch. Also, I was hoping BOSE wouldn't have taken 1st place!!! Here is a quote: "We've heard dozens of home-theater speaker systems, but we were taken aback by Klipsch's Synergy System 6 package because it sounds like a much bigger and more expensive system. And it's not just good for blasting through effects-laden DVDs. No sir--this flexible system works its magic on CDs with equal verve." justin_tx_16
Funny how ZDnet/Cnet BOTH said a few years ago that the Klipsch Quintet system was the WORST 5.1 system they had heard in quite some time, especially at the price. I think it got like a 5/10 or 3/10... well, at least they were pleased by this system.
justin_tx_16
Klipsch Quintet MicroSystem CNET Rating: 4 out of 10 The good: Compact; inexpensive. The bad: Boxy sound; beamy highs. The bottom line: This speaker system's sound doesn't measure up to the competition. 96%4% View all user opinions By Adam Liberman (07/18/00) The Quintet MicroSystem is the smallest and least expensive home theater speaker system made by Klipsch, a company that made its name by bringing horn-loaded loudspeakers into the home back in 1946. The driver in a horn-loaded speaker is mounted into what looks something like the bell of a trumpet. This horn directs the sound toward the listener. The design has been used in cinema loudspeakers since the appearance of talkies. For the Quintet, Klipsch designed the smallest horn tweeter it has ever made. But unfortunately, pedigree notwithstanding, this microsized system did not impress us. Don't you love the new Bulletin Boards HTML abilities?! That is so awesome! Interesting... look at how much the owners love it, 96%! LoL! Just goes to show that reviews don't always mean anything at'tall, kinda like Stereophile hehe. BTW, I edited this and it worked
tripod
1st place? They're not even in the top 5. Deang
Yea, it's great if you know HTML. I can't view the code used in others post to see how it's done either. On the old board I could do that.
justin_tx_16
set it to rich text, then just copy and paste another website, that is what i did. i do know html though, that comes in handy when things don't go as well as you would like
