bi-wiring/bi-amping...help

Bi-wiring is basically :pwk_bs:...a waste of your time and money.  Most consumer-grade loudspeaker manufacturers nowadays provide bi-wiring connectors, but this is basically just marketing hype.  Just use 14 gauge zip-strip wire and be done with it.

Bi-amping represents a significant upgrade in performance for your loudspeakers.  If those "bi-wiring" connectors allows you to electrically separate the woofers from the midrange/tweeters (and thus provide easy access to bi-amp) then you've got something worth having.

As Chris said, the is very little benefit in bi-wiring.

Bi-amping using an electronic XO has benefit but, additional cost.  Some avr's offer bi-amping but, there is usually no electronic XO and the user's speaker is still connected to the passive built-in XO of the speaker.
