willland
Very clean design, very ATI/Outlaw'ish. Big toroidal, solid heat sinks, 6 bipolar output transistors per channel. At full rated power (200 watts), the noise floor was around 121dB. Excellent bench test results. A completely ridiculous deal at $500.00. teaman
I didn't care for my Outlaw M2200 monoblocks so that is the only thing holding me back from trying these Monolith amps. I am sure the quality is there just not sure about high volume sound. To me the Outlaws sounded harsh and "tinny" at higher volumes.

From my understanding, the M2200 were not built by ATI in the USA but by another company overseas. Maybe that "fact" could be the reason for your lack of fondness for the M2200. Or maybe not. teaman
Thanks Bill, I had assumed that ATI made all of the Outlaw amps. That may be a big reason why as you say I didn't care for them. I appreciate the info!
