Blutv
My main fronts are RF7-II's and center is RC-64 II. Can someone suggest a ceiling mounted speaker for the Voice of God channel that match these existing speakers? Most speakers I see have holes in the back for wall mounting and not ceiling mounting. Thanks for your help.
Moderators Youthman Posted December 25, 2017 Moderators Share Posted December 25, 2017 This should help - http://www.klipsch.com/ceiling-speakers Welcome to the forums
Blutv
Thanks for the link but I am not too handy with stuffs. I might do irreversible damage to the ceiling if I make openings into it to accommodate these in-ceiling speakers. Are there ceiling mounted speakers? wuzzzer
Why do you need to mount them on the ceiling?
Blutv
For Auro 3D sound systems, there is a Voice of God channel that is directly above the listener's head, hence the need for a ceiling-mounted speaker
wuzzzer
You'll have to get some kind of bracket to mount the speakers on. Klipsch makes in ceiling and in wall but not on ceiling.
Blutv
Do you have any recommendation as to which speakers and brackets can be used for ceiling mounting?
Moderators Youthman Posted December 27, 2017 Moderators Share Posted December 27, 2017 Any speaker can be ceiling mounted with the right hardware. But it will likely have to be DIY (Do It Yourself).
jason str
Most outdoor speakers have mounting brackets.

Blutv
With my current front speakers, do you guys have a recommendation for an outdoor speaker that matches them?
jason str
KPT-801 or the AW-650 will work.
Blutv
I saw the AW-650 but not the KPT-801 when I searched on this website.
