Terminus
Yeah I tried ebay with no luck so I came here, I might have to give in and pay the 170 bones soon as I want to get my mini-HT setup going. Anyone?
GooseChaser
are u trying to connect a dvd player or console such as Xbox or PS2? and u have audigy right? is it audigy platinum or just a regular one? If u have platinum version and ur computer is running Windows XP/2000, a driver update will give u AC-3 SPDIF-in decode feature through coxial or optical. in my case I have Windows 98/ME, u are gonna have to juggle ur driver a little but it is possible to have AC-3 SPDIF-in decode. couple days ago i got my PS2 hooked up to audigy through optical cord and everthing is working properly. so far I watched the lord of the ring, blade 2, and Amadeus. just need to get my copy of Saving Private Ryan back from a friend, that's the one I use to test DVD setups anyway. if u have Windows 98/ME and wanna do this make sure to post here to get the details from me. I did went through hell to get this working...
