Jerrymr1965 Posted February 19, 2018 Share Posted February 19, 2018 The K48 has a little better spl, 107 I think. This allowed a bass response gain without increasing amplifier power. The K48 did require a little cabinet modification but the better low end response was worth the experiment. The K 43 simply was not what I was after.
