kink56
Has anyone tried either or both K55G and CT120 drivers in their Belle or LaScala? What sonic differences did you experience versus the stock drivers?
jjptkd
I have that combo in my custom 362's (basically pro style Cornscala's) and had them in my HIP's, both are excellent improvements over stock versions. That tweeter is really something else, adds a lot to the sound without being imposing at all. The A55-g is very smooth, clean and detailed, top shelf stuff. kink56
Good to hear. Do they make the mids and highs louder as to result in the shelving effect on the bass response? (would I need mid and/or tweeter attenuators to match the output of the bass driver?)
edmjm
I replaced the k55 with a55g in my cornwall & found them a little less in volume (loudness). I guess something to due with them being more effecient & smoother. I didn’t make any changes to crossover
kink56
Smoother and less distortion may give the illusion that they are less in volume, but more efficient would cause them to be louder in volume.
Deang
I use both. An enthusiastic thumbs up for both.
