Alexander
Short of manually plugging and unplugging separate pairs of speaker wires to connect between two different systems IE: Denon AVR-x3200w and Emotiva equipment is there a way to use some sort of switching device? I only have room for a single pair of forte II's for mains and want to use them for both HT (Denon) and 2 channel (Emotiva).
muel
You can't use just any speaker switch box. Most will connect your amplifiers which would be a bad thing. You want to have only a single device making connection to the speakers at a time. This will connect up to 6: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01G7SEQ7G This will disconnect every other amplifier except the one you have selected. Don't use this with tube amps unless you are very sure you won't have the amp on with the corresponding switch off... they don't like to be disconnected from the speakers. This box could also be used to demo 1 pair of speakers at a time from a single amplifier.
