tigerwoodKhorns
Looking for a friend. He has a large theater room. I'd like to find a good deal on an RF7 or RF83 based system. At least 5.1 but prefer a 7.1. Also need a projector and screen (fixed screen, about 120"). Located in Las Vegas. I also directed him to Sound distributors, but I think that we can do better. What do you think? What have you got?

tigerwoodKhorns
Is it worth it to buy a 1080 with 4k out (available)?
Moderators Youthman Posted April 25, 2018 Moderators Share Posted April 25, 2018 Depends on if you want / need 4K. I haven't researched pricing lately but I'm guessing native 4K projectors are still pretty pricey. Maybe I'm wrong as electronics tend to drop like a rock in value. Ryan from WA
Yes, probably for another 5 years. Most content is 1080 and the difference in pictury quality between the two is very little, unless very close to the screen like a computer and even then pretty minor. I realize you dont know me so my opinion isnt worth all that much If you can get 4k for the same or very close in price then I'd opt for it
