Maximus89 Posted August 18, 2018 Share Posted August 18, 2018 Looks like it was a raw fir decorator khorn that had veneer put on the front and on a custom made top. I could be wrong, but didn't decorators come with a top only for the HF bin? And it just rested on the LF bin? He could have put the stock top on the bottom(as that looks the correct thickness) and then made himself a new top which ended up looking thicker, which i like personally as long you match the bottom board to match in thickness. Just needs some of the same veneer edge banding. Could be ribbon stripped mahogany veneer used? Not sure.
