What amplifier for Klipsch RP-260-F.

Hi,

I'm planning on buying 2 RP-260-F loudspekers.

I'm having a hard time finding a good amplifier (not receiver) to pair them with and use them to their full potential.

Also, what minimum requirements are needed from the amplifier. Wattage, impedance, etc...

Thx in advance !

Guessing strictly 2-channel amp?

Integrated amp okay?

What size room?

How loud do you listen?

How about budget?

Hi,

Yes. 2channel.

Integrated is ok.

140m3 room.

Like jazz. Like low to medium. Sometimes loud.

Budget is 500-700 euros.

If you would advise a similar Klipsch speaker model, please do.

Maybe a Cambridge Audio 651A, Yamaha A-S801,  NAD C356BEE,  Onkyo A-9070(or European equivalent).

Welcome to the madness.

Dave

I have arrived I think.

Thinking of using 2 RP-260F speakers hooked up to a 2 channel rotel amp as base.

Then use a Audiolab M-DAC+ (balanced XLR to rotel) up to my laptop to play lots of flac jazz and

maybe play around with dsd streaming...

Or would this be a no go road.

Also, in a lot of reviews the speakers tend to be too much exciting for jazz.

Anyone who can refute this with experience ?

It's a jungle out there...
