edster00
I say buy used from ebay or AudiogoN...save yourself several thousand dollars. Excellent examples of K-horns regularly go for ~$2000-$3000 on ebay. Shipping generally requires crating, and shipping normally runs a few hundred bucks depending on how far they have to travel. If you find some within driving distance it is even better. I was patient (and lucky) and found my pair within 3 miles of my home! K-horns and the other Heritage speakers (except the Heresy) have been out of production for a year or more due to a parts supplier going out of business and subsequent difficulty in finding adequate replacements. Production or the Heritage line has supposed to have begun again but I haven't heard of anyone who has actually seen a "new" pair of Heritage speakers yet. jdm56
Tom, You should be able to buy new heritage for about 2/3 of list. Shop around until you find a dealer willing to DEAL!
sunnysal
Tom, you might consider shopping for a used pair of K-horns, you could save a few thousand dollars and put that towards better amplification. tony
Gregorius
Get used, I paid $1,700 for these '86 models (see attach) located 100 miles from my home. Regards, Greg
