I cleaned the mechanics thoroughly and installed a drive new belt. It works great including the automatic function. The cue damping could use some work, probably needs fluid but it is perfectly usable as it is. It has an Empire 4000D/II cartridge which is highly regarded by some. I did have to replace the stylus. Over all condition I would rate at fair plus. The dust cover has hazing and I have never tried to polish it out. This would make a great starter turntable for someone.
