Sub Not Playing Speakers

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

So I have a Klipsch Subwoofer and I cannot get the speakers to play out of it. I hooked them up straight on, then I tried banana plugs and got nothing. The input I had was a rca jack to aux cable and the sub cuts on and works perfect but nothing out the speakers. I plugged the speakers up to something else and they worked. So I don’t know what to do. This is the subwoofer

Welcome to the Forums!

Use Line in from the SW output on your receiver.

Use speaker outputs from your receiver.

Turn Power switch on SW to ON.

So I have to use a stereo receiver? I cannot just plug in the speaker and use as a stand alone?

How?  There are no speaker outputs on that sub.

Correct, your SW has speaker inputs; but, no outputs.

Agreed with the above.  You have 2 different types of inputs on the sub amp.  You can use one or the other depending on what type outputs from your source you have to work with.
