willland
@RaymondS, Welcome to the forum. The RC-64 was the flagship center speaker in the Reference IV series. The RC-64III is the newest flagship center speaker that is designed to be mated with the RF-7III floorstanding speakers only. These speakers are in the Reference "VI" series even though they were never designated that because only the flagship models exist in that line. 15 hours ago, RaymondS said: I do own a KLIPSCH RC-64 I. And thinking to upgrade. Is it worth it? I have owned my RC-64 for about 12 years and there is no other center speaker that I would want to pair with my RF-63s. If you have the RF-7IIIs, then an "upgrade" may be in order. What front speakers do you currently have in this setup? Bil
Paducah Home Theater
The new ones should be more laid back, they have the Peerless compression driver with the coating in them which is the same one on the RF-7III's. If you put them side by side the old one is likely significantly brighter.
