Pedro D
I just purchased a pair of R-41 active speakers. They sound great on Bluetooth, but when I connect them to my Traktor Kontrol mixer turntable and switch to phono, the bass sounds SUPER high to the point where sound is not crisp and treble is low - sounding very muffled. Any idea what could be causing this? Since these are active, I don’t need a receiver.

Unless you're playing phonograph records, you're probably not going to like the sound. Here is the EQ curve that is used by phono amplifiers to equalize the output of phonograph cartridges through a "phono" channel: That's 40 dB of total EQ boost on the low frequency spectrum relative to the highs--it doesn't get much more extreme than that. This particular curve has been around since the 1950s (78 RPM curves preceded it). Welcome to the forum. Chris
Blvdre
What are you using as a source, and which mixer input is selected? As Chris pointed out, it sounds like you're running a line level source through a phono input. Do you have the mixer's eq enabled, and possibly misadjusted? Marvel
Make sure the input is set to line and not phono, or as Chris says, the eq will be all wrong. See page 7 in the manual.
