synthfreek
When was the last time Wes Craven directed anything worth watching?
m00n
Oh, I liked Nightmare on Elm Street, yeah Freddy Kruger was an excellent monster/killer. How many where there. I liked the first two I think, after that, they got lame.
justin_tx_16
I must say, it was not THAT bad. I would not buy it on DVD, maybe a renter, but it was no where near as bad as some other movies I have seen... Wicker Man anyone?
WMcD
I can't quite agree. I saw "They". It just didn't maintain suspense and a measured story line. That doesn't qualify it as a monstrosity in an artistic sense. On the other hand, I saw it in a cineplex theater which seats 250. There were six of us. Even with the mark up on popcorn, someone is losing a lot money. The money people might consider it a monstrosity, but it was their judgment to back it. I don't agree with Justin's comments on Wicker Man. It is a cult classic. It wasn't "Hollywood" and didn't pretend to be. WM was a shocker of its day. Sort of a niche item. synthfreek
I've been wanting to say something about Wicker Man forever. Justin you didn't even finish watching it so how can you possibly judge it. Just for your info the detective was a patsy the whole time since he was the "purest" person they could lure their for a human sacrifice. But I guess you'll never get to see that part since you sold it.
seventeenmonkeys
sorry, but it was just THAT bad. i expect more from even the lesser movies. i never really got interested in the caracters and what was happening to them. i wanted to dose off even during the so called scary parts.
