Music_Smurf
I am currently using the following Klipsch Synergy series speakers: SB-2 Fronts, SC-1 Center, and SS-1 Surrounds. I would like to purchase a sub(s) to complement my existing speakers. My room dimensions are 15' x 20'. All my speakers are placed equidistant from the listening/viewing position (6'9"). I am thinking of either getting: a) single HSU VTF-2 10" driver single HSU VTF-3 12" driver c) combo Klipsch KSW-10 and KSW-15 d) single Klipsch KSW-12 e) dual Klipsch KSW-12 Given my room dimensions and existing speakers, what sub should I purchase? Any other suggestions besides the choices I listed? P.S. Thank you for taking your valuable time to read my post.
prodj101
don't waste time and money on the KSW line whatever you decide to do. I'd get an RSW-10. I have a RSW-15 and it works great, even though it is a little much for the rest of my system. (I have SF-2, SF-1, SC-1, and RSW-15). Fordman
I have a VTF-2 and for the money (less than 500.00) I dont think there is a better sub.You would nt be disappointed in this one.
Kain
Have you considered SVS?
Scipio
I have basically the same setup as you (minus the ss-1's as they haven't arrived yet ) but i went with the SVS 20-39 PCi and I have to say it is way more than enough sub for the setup, I highly recommend it for this setup. Keep in mind though that it stands nearly 4 feet tall, and despite my amazing mechanical spatial skills I didn't fully realize how tall the bugger was. Either way, it looks cool, it sounds great, and its not too expensive and with svs's customer service you can't go wrong.
