sjs11 Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 So I’m doing some work on an original pair of Heresy’s in Walnut oiled veneer. It’s a shame because the veneer is in good shape but the entire front edge veneer on both speakers has peeled off. If possible, I would really like to leave the original veneer and only install new veneer on the front edges where it’s missing. Anyone know of a good place to source veneer that would be a somewhat close match? I have a few of the peeled off pieces I can take with me for reference. Thanks in advance for any helpful info. 1 Quote
dtr20 Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 I would just go to a woodworking store like Woodcraft or lumber yard and buy walnut edge banding. It will already have wood adhesive on the back and you use an iron to melt the glue so it sticks to the wood. It will be wider than the side panels, so you will need to trim the edge banding. 1 Quote
