338H10
Anyone tried this B&C clone/replacement? Price is good, and ZXPC is otherwise a reputable seller on eBay. I have no relationship to either "LASE" or "ZXPC". https://www.ebay.com/itm/254179527974?hash=item3b2e47cd26:g:kkEAAOSwrJRcm7w- Edited December 8, 2021 by 338H10
Curious_George
Clone drivers are always a crap-shoot. I would buy one and measure it to see how it performs. If it is a good clone keep it. If not, return it. If you don't have the capacity to measure, maybe someone can do it for you.
338H10
I was hoping that someone has had experience with the LASE already, since ZXPC is rather popular seller. I myself do not have the capacity to measure.

I just looked up the prices. Partsexpress has a coupon for $50 off of a $500 order. If you need two of the B&Cs plus something that is $18 the B&Cs seem to be a bargain. But if I decide to move up to the $200+ range, then Faital HF204/206 would be part of the pool as well, which a few here appear to prefer over the B&C and older/titanium HF200. Part of my interest in the Lase drivers, outside of monetary saving, is the "thrill" of potentially finding a hidden gem. It's just that I am too cheap to buy them just to try them.

The price is good, the weight is there, but if it does not really perform well, it's still $99 wasted -- I am leaning towards the full-priced offerings by Faital now, especially HF206.
