kenratboy
This is mostly a computer comic, but 100% true to audio. Enjoy!
cluless
Cute - But still not as good as the guy from the promedia forum that melted down his speakers by plugging the wires into the power strip in an attempt to get more power. And I think that the monster chomping on the power cord is one of my cats in disguise. good luck in school ratboy, and don't work too hard. jtkinney
Cerwin Vega used to demo their speakers by plugging them into the nearest outlet. This proved how robust they were, but not how good/bad they sounded. A 120 volt outlet is equivalent to 1800 watts with an 8 ohm speaker. kenratboy
So that would be 1,800 watts at 60 Hz.? What would the frequency range be?
Invidiosulus
Frequency range? Umm, I think it would be just at 60 Hz. Peace, Josh
