Gearweasel
I have recently noticed video artifacts that resemble small flashing green hash marks in a screen wide checkerboard pattern. Have been thinking that the video output is to blame, since it is on all of the outputs(composite,s-video,component).If you have a similar problem or better a solution.Let me know.Hate to think I blew a grand on a defective player. The player is being viewed on A 2001 Mitsubishi 55855 Platnium Plus rear projection tv. jt1stcav
I don't have a HT or a DVD player, but I'd contact Sony pronto and ask them. I've got a 16 year old Sony SLV-575UC Hi-Fi VCR that had a transport FUBAR a few years ago (and it's definately not under warranty anymore), and they took care of it fast (and it's still in use today)! Call them now before your warranty expires...you can't afford not to.
Invidiosulus
Just to be sure I would try a different source going straight into the TV. This way you would eliminate the 9000ES altogether and you would know if it was the inputs on your TV. Just my two cents. Peace,Josh
16YearOldAudiophile
Josh has an excellent point, be sure it isnt a defective monitor input before barking down sony's neck. Nate
