If you lost your hearing...

I'm an artist and a former wedding photographer, so I suppose I'd still get by. But not to be able to listen to all the music I love so much...it pains me to even think of such a horrific condition! My life would be so incomplete.

To Beethoven, Pete Townshend, and others who live and breath music and can't hear its full strength or its delicate passages, yet still produce music for music's sake...my hat's off to you!

This is an easy one for me....

My other hobbies are boating, motorcycles, and tennis. And of these three, tennis would benefit the most from my lack of hearing. No longer would I have to hear my partner (or my team mates) laugh at the shots I some times make.

As for my motorcycling...I'd be able to save some time getting ready for I'd no longer have to insert my ear plugs before donning my helmet.
