Mr. Blorry
Sheesh, I dunno Mac! I just have a regular CD copy of the album, and it doesn't sound any different than my other stuff. I don't have any gold discs--perhaps they are not recorded with as much gain??? I will admit that to get this disc to really scare the bejesus out of my guests, I have to push my lil' ST-70 to it's limit, but for average listening, I have never noticed needing to push it any harder than any other. I have a SS amp too, and the power requirements are about the same (although not nearly as delicious ) This message has been edited by Mr. Blorry on 06-04-2001 at 08:52 AM
Mike Lindsey
Hey, I have Passion Fruit by Michael Franks...excellent recording. If anyone really likes soothing (and interesteing) guitar, try listening to Michael Hedges. I saw him about 1 month before he died - unbeleivable performer! His 1st two albums, Breakfast in the Field (1981) and Aerial Boundaries (1985), are outstanding! You won't be disappointed... Mike
Audio Flynn
I agree with the Michael Hedges. Another one is the Native American musician Douglass Spotted Eagle. He has an CD called "Closer to Far Away"; I think track 4 is called House of dawn light Great percussion and wooden flutes.
