mobile homeless
I actually think the Welborne - Cary gear are fairly attractive, especially the Cary amps from the early to mid 90s. I think Welborne does a good job with their kits which are some of the more attractive out there. But I imagine it would be far more than $250 to come up with a something you are envisioning. Besides, I would hate to see what they WOULD come up with! heh... kh
mike stehr
I was looking at the CES pics from AA and seen a pic of Josh Stippich posing next to one of his amps. I remember this guy from pics awhile back from that bottlehead meeting, in just a white T-shirt and blue jeans. He looked the total stereotype for a tube-dork. He looks a little more trendy in the current pictures at CES. I do remember being quite impressed with the functional art look of his designs at the bottlehead meet, and even the current designs at CES. The looks of his gear does grow on you. The Cain & Cain speakers are built here in WA., around the Tri-citie area. Sorry Sunnysal, I just pretty much contradicted my last post. Oh well, I can live with cheap and ugly. Wish I had disposable income.
