bkrop
I'm starting to get an itch... I have got a couple of questions about Khorns 1) How easy is it to seperate and reassemble the mid/tweeter section from the bass bin ? 2) Can you use a cushioned hand truck to roll them in and out of buildings w/o damage ? 3) Can they lay on their front or "sides" on moving blankets or remain upright during transport ? 4) Approximately what do the seperate sections wiegh? 5) You can see where this is going so how hard are they to move? Jim Cornell
I transported mine, having the seats in the mini van folded down, with them lying face down on top of the seats no damage! Getting them thru the front door was the hardest part LOL! Regards Jim
bkrop
Jim: did you leave them assembled ? Did you move them yourself?
Jim Cornell
I left them assembled, they took all the room in the van, i had help putting them in the van, and then wife helped unload them whole, the tops do come off, you might want to do this, then you can move them yourself! But once home, the enjoyment never stops! Regards Jim

One more thing... When I moved mine I used 2 airbeds in my Dodge Grand Caravan-one full size and one twin.I inflated them about half way and made it back to Massachusetts (from Virginia) without some much a scratch. Good luck with the purchase, Jeff

j-malotky
BK Jeff is right, it is a 2 man job mainly for the size of the bass bin. I have moved mine several times. Mine are C models and like jeff, they are held together with 2 wing nuts. The top unit has 2 support pieces inside that can be used nicely for handles. I also laid my bass bin on its front on top of a series of blankets. If you are in a pickup or open to the air, I would also recomend putting some foam or someting to keep the air from blowing into the horns. Good luck in your Khorn search.
