klipsch kid
hey guys. I opened up my speakers and took out the bass drivers. they say iminence on the drivers. i was told that they are the ones that make the speakers for klipsch now. are these good drivers? I posted some questions about this on the forum , but no one has had a answer for this yet. I just wanted to know if I got (pardon my language again) screwed or what. you see I just got these la scala speakers and they are from 1978. if anyone knows, please let me know. thanks. the new guy
jt1stcav
If you were told by a reliable source that your bass drivers are from newer La Scalas, and they sound good to you, even on older Heritage Series, then you didn't get (pardon my French) screwed! Invidiosulus
I don't know any of the specifics of the model numbers but Eminence did manufacture a number of the drivers that klipsch used over the years. Your speakers are propably fine although you might try calling customer support at klipsch and see what they know about the model numbers.
