I almost tried the M200A before I decided to go with the 290's. If

I remember the M200A was better at 400Hz then the M200. I'm looking for a 300Hz driver.

It may be one we try. I don't know how many drivers and horns were

going to go through.

The 291 is more like the 288 then the 290. It is another 500Hz driver. I think it used a composite diaphragm and has a lower high frequency response then the 288. I wouldn't go there.

You are right about the cost being a little high for some. The tweeter is expensive, you know about what the network will cost. Then of course the midrange driver and horn, not to mention the building of the tops in different woods. The market may well be outside this little family here. It's just makes a world of difference in the sound of the K-Horn and something I have grown to feel should be shared and offered to others. I never planed to go down this road, but there might be a niche for it. Time will tell, and remember that I said this is something I shouldn't be descussing yet. Way to early yet.
