stan krajewski
My brother has an HK430 that I won on Ebay. He came to my house, heard it on my Heresy's and liked it. I gave it to him to drive his pair of Chorus I speakers until he bought a tube amp. Well its been 4 months now and he is not looking for another amp anymore. I just won another HK430 on Ebay for myself and will be using it on my Heresy's very shortly. They come up on Ebay all the time. Patience is the key here. Colin
my sweet little 70s vintage, solid-state, single power supply harmon/kardon 330B receiver (free) is a revelation with big ole horns, more tube-like than the few modern, chintzy piece of solid-state tin I have heard on my big ole horns... Another person to bid the price up; with any luck they'll be going for $200 due to the Klipsch forum flavor-of-the-week reputation . I wish you guys would just say how horrible this unit sounds that way I can finally score one on the cheap .
jfmacken
I just picked up a HK630 for $60 bucks and it sounds just amazing on my heresy I's. Sounds better than my $500 yamaha integrated, hands down. What's the diff between the 630 and 430? I think mine is 30 wpc, but I may be wrong..
pablum
Dark, I know it was 1:30am in Atlanta, but I wouldnt be too wound up about mr. stig and the 430 since Stig made that observation in February of 2003, over 16 months ago.
