Gilbert
I want to purchase a pair of Cornwall II's in mint condition. Preferably with oiled Walnut veneer, but will certainly consider other veneers. If you have a pair or lead on a pair, please let me know. Thanx. Email: duphas@valornet.com
triceratops
Just a point of clarification. The designation Cornwall II was used to describe two different generations of Cornwall speakers. The first Cornwall II was A Cornwall with the horns oriented vertically, hence the pictographic "II" designation. These were available up until the early 1970's. The second Cornwall II (it should really be Cornwall 2) was made after 1985 and used front-loaded horns and a cabinet with a non-removable back. The second generation is what is described on the Belgian Audio site. I assume this is what you are looking for. They do come up here regularly and often are in excellent condition because they were very expensive speakers when new--so they were usually well cared for. They earlier ones are tougher to find in showroom condition. Best of luck in your search! Two horns are still better than one, Triceratops

Chris Robinson
I've owned both the "old" Cornwall II's (in my system now) and the rear mounted Cornwall I's (1985). Both sound wonderful but if you can find a pair of the old II's, they're keepers. The vertical horns, IMHO, provide for better HF imaging and dispersion, plus they're very nostalgic
Good2BHome
Any thoughts on why the seller of the above noted eBay Cornwall II's did not choose to show the complete serial numbers? Mike
Gilbert
Good observation. Thanks.
Gilbert
Thanks for the scoop Triceratops. I am looking for the second generation of Cornwall II's, but would love to have a pair with the vertically oriented horn too. Am I greedy or what... See ya. triceratops
Greedy? Nah...hard to imagine anyone describing it that way. Ya just got good taste! If one pair of Klipsch heritage is cool, then more is even cooler... Best, triceratops
Dana Christensen
Hi, I have a pair of Cornwall IIs for sale. We are moving to a new, much smaller home and the speakers simply do not fit. My wife is allowing me to keep my Heresey's and two other pairs of small Klipsch book end speakers but the Cornwall IIs must go. I am the original owner and they are in mint condition. No scratches, nicks, dings, etc. They are medium Oak finish (factory) with black grills. I am asking $1000. Interested.
Tubinhard
Hi Dana, It's easier is you just create a new topic, and make a 'for sale' post.
