I've always liked his movies, he usually plays real offbeat characters and adds his own style to it. I'll buy pirates when it's on DVD. It will sound even better at home. dblue Posted July 22, 2003 Share Posted July 22, 2003 I agree damon... I read an interview with Depp that said he was unable to shake the Hunter persona after filming Fear and Loathing. You can definately see the influnence of that character in Jack Sparrow...lots of the same mannerisms. Pirates of the Carribean rocked. I was laughging or entertained the whole time, except that I found the ending a little cheesy (but it was almost called for). Anyway, good flick.
